You can use different search operators to refine your search results in the eLibrary.
You can use the following Boolean operators:
AND or [space]
You can enter AND in the search field or use a space instead. The space will be interpreted as AND by the search engine.
If you link search terms with AND, documents will be found in which the linked terms occur together. The position of the terms in relation to each other within the document is irrelevant.
Input version: Requirement AND Verification
Input version: Requirement Verification
You will get fewer hits and a more accurate result than if you just search “Requirement” alone, because only those documents will be displayed in which Requirement AND Verification occur TOGETHER.
OR or [comma]
You can enter OR or a comma in the search field. The comma will be interpreted as OR by the search engine.
If you use OR, all documents will be displayed which contain one OR the other term. You will therefore display more results than with an AND search.
Use OR in a search for synonyms, antonyms, alternative spellings or abbreviations.
|Synonym|| Deduction OR Reduction
|Antonym|| regulated OR deregulated
|Alternatives|| EURO OR EUR
|Abbreviations|| Ltd OR Limited
Limited liability company OR Ltd
